Humans are changing the ocean’s chemistry, resulting in an increase in acidity that slows the shell growth of oysters, clams, corals and other animals, and can kill them in their larval form. At the same time, our ocean is getting busier with human uses such as commercial fishing, maritime commerce, recreation, energy needs and more, placing increased pressure on our oceans limited space. Join representatives from Ocean Conservancy as they talk about ocean acidification and ocean planning, and how we can tackle these tough challenges together.
