Park and Ride
SPAT offers FREE shuttle transportation from the town parking lots listed below. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes and drop off at Town Center from 9:30 am until 5:30pm. Shuttles are offered free, however donations to support SPAT are greatly appreciated. Donation boxes are located throughout the ‘Fest.
Please be advised that most of the municipal lots and private businesses charge a fee for parking. All parking is subject to availability so please carpool to reduce congestion
The fee to park at the Wellfleet beach parking lots is $10 per car. These lots include LeCounts Hollow Beach (Maguire Landing), Newcomb’s Hollow Beach and White Crest Beach. Please go to those beach lots in the order listed. Anyone with a Resident Beach or Resident Beach/Transfer sticker will not be charged for parking at the beach lots during OysterFest. The Town Pier will charge $15 per car to benefit the Marina Enterprise Fund.
The Town of Wellfleet will ticket vehicles in invalid parking spaces.
SPAT provides limited handicap parking at the Mayo Beach Parking Area with wheelchair accessible shuttle bus service to the center of town.
The Wellfleet Congregational Church at 200 Main Street and the Wellfleet United Methodist Church at 246 Main Street have reserved a limited number of handicapped parking spaces on a first come first served basis. They request a suggested donation of $25 to support the work of the church.
Drivers are permitted and encouraged to drop off persons in wheelchairs at either entrance to the Fest and then park cars in any of the available lots. OysterFest staff or Wellfleet Police will assist upon request.
Park and Walk
Additional parking with walking access to the ‘Fest is located at the Wellfleet Elementary School on Lawrence Rd., Cove Corner on Route 6 and the Mayo Beach Parking Area.
